Wood chips are the result of sending tree limbs and debris through the chipper. Many people use them to add aesthetics to their landscape(flower beds, barren areas, etc). Once the chips decompose, it is now referred to as mulch(rich dark soil). This is a wonderful ingredient to add to gardens, plants and dry barren areas.
